WHAT IS DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY?
Intimate, real, intentional without feeling staged...documentary photography is exactly as it sounds!
Raina works off an 80/20 system. 80% natural and candid with just 20% prompted or posed. That 20% is for small directions or to gather your family for group portraits.
While Raina might suggest where in the room has good lighting to capture the final touches of your fit, there will be no faux-buttoning the dress for an inauthentic moment.
WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH FILM PHOTOGRAPHY?
My most common question by far! Warm, nostalgic, intentional, specialized, limited, joyful. Analog photography is for the vinyl lovers, the movie buffs, the coffee snobs (I say that affectionately) or those with timeless taste.
Typically, on a wedding day, my focus is to tell a story entirely made up of in-between moments. I’m specific about the frame, focus, and timing as I space out those 36 frames between my digital coverage. They oftentimes turn out to be my favorite images of the gallery.
Each roll of 35mm is $150 for 34-36 images, 120 film is 12-16 images all delivered digitally with the rest of your gallery. I supply black and white or color.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
Within 8 weeks of your celebration you'll receive an online gallery link straight to your email. You'll find two tabs, one with all your digital images and one with all your film. Every image has a download option for either print or web resolution.
The gallery has a built-in print shop that you're by no means obligated to print from, but welcome to!

HOW CUSTOMIZABLE IS MY PHOTO COVERAGE?
GOTCHA packages are built specifically for small celebrations and elopements. In an attempt to remain affordable and high quality, Raina will only be offering up to 4 hours of coverage. This means no matter what package you choose, hours of coverage are available for "add-ons" up to 4 hours.
For packages beyond those hours, please visit Raina's individual packages, a custom rate can be created to book both through GOTCHA and Raina.
That being said, film photography is unlimited! Extra rolls of 35mm & 120 can be added at any time.
